Job description:

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Customer Service Advisor / Commercial Support Advisor. The role will be working for a leading Global Health Company with the purpose of providing assistance to the Commercial Support Supervisor and Financial Accountant, along with related responsibilities of Customer Service, Order Administration and Office Administration.

Preparation of customer documentation in time for product release.
Ensure that all orders received are processed accurately and promptly.
Assist the Commercial Support Supervisor in gaining orders/new accounts and following up on enquiries.
Making travel arrangements and bookings as required.
Assist the Commercial Support Supervisor with the Office administration of both the Tring and Oxford office.
Control the company’s archiving and deputise in the absence of Commercial Support Supervisor.
Log all supplier invoices from point of receipt, and distribute for approval.
Communicate internally on the need for prompt approval of invoices by each department.
Operation of the purchase ledger to ensure prompt processing of invoices and personal expense claims.
Manage creditor days, ensure suppliers are paid, initiating and completing bi-weekly payment runs.
Issue remittance notification to suppliers.
Raise company purchase orders as and when required and ensure purchase order is sent to supplier in timely manner.
Monitor debtor days and communicate to the customers.

Must be able to keep administrative records in an efficient and confidential manner.
Full driving licence and use of a car is essential (with a 2nd Office in Didcot, Oxford the role will require attendance at that site 1 day a week, possibly even 1 or 2 days every 4 – 6 weeks with mileage paid)
Educated to ‘O’ level/GCSE standards.
Knowledge of MS Office is essential.
Be able to effectively manage tasks within a pressurised environment.
Ability to prioritise tasks will be an essential skill to ensure that objectives are met.

Currently remote working, however return to the office will be over the next couple of months and this will be for between 2 & 4 days a week (days to be confirmed) and Fridays will be permanent home working.




Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4:00pm (1/2 Hr lunch), Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm
