Financial Accounts Manager

Job description:

Our client, well known in their field is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Manager to join their growing team, this role will manage a team of 2 staff members, with the main purpose of the role being the preparation of the company’s budgets, day-to-day accounts as well as the preparation of management accounts.

The Accounts Manager will need to have a minimum of three years’ experience in this role or similar, experience in managing cashflow, preparing management accounts and experienced with using Sage Line 50 and MS Office. A high attention to detail, with excellent organisational and presentation skills is a must in this role.

ROLE:
Processing and administration of bank receipts, purchase invoices and supplier payments, including payments to overseas suppliers.
Month-end, preparing and posting journal entries, payroll, depreciation/amortisation, prepayments, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
Monthly reconciliation of GBP and FX bank accounts.
Preparing and authorisation of monthly payroll.
Monthly HMRC PAYE, NI payments and quarterly VAT returns.
Preparation and maintaining of yearly and monthly budgets, cash flow and forecasts.
Assisting with year-end reporting, managing Debtors and Creditors.
Some HR roles including Payroll, Employment Contracts and maintaining the Pension Scheme.
An understanding of TOMs Accounting is beneficial.
Knowledge of Travelink is preferable, however training will be provided.

Hours:

Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm

Salary:

£32,000 - £35,000 (Negotiable on sector/industry experience)
