Head of Marketing, Communications & Events - (Maternity Cover)
Our Client is seeking maternity cover for our Head of Marketing, Communications & Events for a minimum of 9-months fixed term with a view to extending if needed.
You will be leading a busy business-to-business Marketing & Events function in a fast-moving environment and will creatively lead, inspire and develop the marketing team of nine.
Supporting several projects and campaigns across the organisation you will deliver a consistent brand approach and be equally as comfortable getting hands-on as taking a step back and thinking strategically.
Develop & oversee the implementation of the Marketing, Communications and Events Activity.
Responsible for the day to day management and control of the marketing function and the design and delivery of marketing targets. Includes the management of marketing budgets and staff management, recruitment and development.
Representation of the marketing function with suppliers and customers.
Identifying opportunities for the marketing function to develop future income streams.
Promotion and PR to support corporate and project-specific, where required.
Support manage and further development of the websites – working with the Head of Operations.
Overseeing the design, content and delivery of the digital communications.
Manage and oversee the events programme.
Working with and supporting the Stakeholders to ensure the delivery of business plan targets.
Contribute to the future strategic development of the business as part of the senior management team.

Undertake any duty or responsibility that may reasonably be requested by the Managing Director.
Knowledge, Experience, Skills:
You have experience leading a busy Marketing & Events function in a fast-moving environment
You are as comfortable getting hands-on as taking a step back and thinking strategically
You have strong experience in B2B online and offline direct marketing with a solid understanding of digital marketing tools and processes
You can creatively lead, inspire and develop the marketing team of 9, overseeing a consistent brand approach across all campaigns and projects
You are be willing to take on a high level of responsibility and have excellent mutli-tasking skills with the ability to prioritise your own activity and the activity of the team
You have a full driving license with business insurance cover
37 Hours a Week
£40,000 - 45,000, depending on experience plus benefits
