An incredible opportunity for a Parts Advisor to join our prestige client in Chorleywood on a full time basis. This role would suit a candidate with previous Parts Advisory Experience.
Assisting with ordering of parts for the Workshop Service Department
Ordering normal parts from local suppliers (shared)
Research and search for parts that are not available from main dealers, or special parts for restorations
Take parts requests via email and reply with costings'
Research new parts that are not available anywhere and source companies to develop new designs / parts and manufacture on our behalf
Catalogue and sort parts in storage - in terms of what condition and where they are located.
Organise and take parts to store for restorations or stock items
Charging of parts and invoices to jobs (shared)
Organise international shipping of parts
Organise overhauls and repair of parts to go to the specialist companies and track their progression of repair
Maintain stocks of parts in Workshop stores
Order monthly stocks of consumables for Workshop and stores
Arrange refurbishment of stock second hand parts
Organise efficient ‘round robin’ logistics for the transport department
Assist with day to day running of the Workshop under the supervision of the Workshop Controller
Assist the Controller by speaking to select service customers; update and generate invoices and assist in handing over cars
Organise transport of customers’ vehicles
Monday – Friday 40 Hours a Week with one Saturday a month
