An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Document Manager at a leading company. Well known in their field, our client will require the successful candidate to fulfil the main function of the role, being to modernise the archive process by introducing new technology to allow the effective management of their documents and archives.
For this role, candidates must have experience in either the Legal Sector, Financial/Banking Sector or Insurance Sector.
The role will be home based initially, and thereafter travel between their offices in Uxbridge and Chesham as required.
Managing the delivery of an archiving service across the company.
Review current document lifecycle processes, develop and improve current archiving processes.
Design and implement new processes and systems.
Ensuring that physical and electronic filing comply with company policies and external regulations.
Supervise the archiving of closed files, both hard copy and paperless files, through the System.
Supervise the retrieval of files and ensure a record is maintained of booked out files.
Supervising the data entry and retrieval of confidential documents from storage onto the system.
Managing the document management process across all sites and teams.
Providing directions to external providers and managing relationships with third party suppliers.
Degree - preferably in information management and/or significant industry experience.
Experienced in managing the archiving process in a business as well as management of digital or electronic records.
Full UK driver’s license with own transport.
