Job description:

An exciting new role has become available for an experienced Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary to work in the Commercial Property department at a well known firm.
The main purpose of this role is to provide legal assistance and administrative support to the Commercial Property Fee Earners.

ROLE:
Answering the telephone/taking messages.
Dealing with clients.
Progressing cases as requested.
Opening and closing matters using LEAP software.
Dealing with compliance matters (AML searches, etc.)
Making appointments and attending to clients
Liaising with third parties
Producing completion statements and drawing up bills
Dealing with post completion matters and dealing with Land Registry
General Paralegal tasks in relation to individual file management: Word processing, Filing
Linking incoming post to appropriate case files.
Liaising with court staff and other third parties as required.
Reception cover, as required
Other tasks as required

ATTRIBUTES:
Audio typing – 60+ words per minute
Good working knowledge of Ms Office
High standard of English grammar and spelling
Excellent Telephone and Time management skills
Good knowledge of the commercial property processes
Good understanding of commercial terminology
Experience in handling the administrative side of commercial property transactions
Diary management
Knowledge of forms/layouts used in legal documentation

Chesham

Hours:

Monday - Friday (9:00am - 5:30pm)
