Legal Secretary (Real Estate)
Our client, a well established firm is growing their Real Estate and Infrastructure department and are recruiting for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their team. The role will suit some who likes a varied role within a vibrant organization.
The Legal Secretary will need to be experienced in dealing with Land Registry/HMRC forms and it would also be beneficial to have previous experience in working for a real estate/commercial property team.
The role will work across 2 offices, and availability to travel between the offices in High Wycombe and Amersham is required.
Work closely with the Head of Department and other team members.
General assistance and support to Fee Earners to ensure that clients’ matters are dealt with.
Full Secretarial support including typing of correspondence and legal documents to all fee earners within the team.
Answering incoming telephone calls from new and existing clients.
Correct matter set up, filing of correspondence and other papers and ensuring compliance where appropriate.
Proper maintenance of the Fee Earner’s files including timely filing of papers and recording the movement of files handed to another Fee Earner or removed from the office.
Preparation of bills as directed by the Fee Earner.
Making appointments for the Fee earner and keeping his or her diary up-to-date.
Maintaining a back-up record of all key dates on the Fee Earner’s matters.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Strong command of Microsoft office (including Excel), Adobe Pro and preferably an understanding of Case Management systems.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail essential.
Dealt with Land Registry/HMRC forms.
Carried out property searches.
Experience of property litigation and court forms would be of interest.
Well organised, structured and methodical.

Full Time Monday - Friday (9:00am - 5:30pm)
