An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Permanent Recruitment Consultant based in Amersham, Bucks to join a family-owned independent Recruitment Agency.

With over 30 years’ experience in the local marketplace across many business sectors, the company has a proven track record in ensuring that they find the right members of staff for their clients. The role will suit someone currently working in recruitment or ideally with recent recruitment experience, who is looking for a responsible role in a small, supportive and collaborative team and has a strong team ethic.

The role:

Running the Permanent placement desk.
Sourcing candidates to match your client’s recruitment needs, making candidate calls to new and existing candidates.
Screening and interviewing Candidates and reference checking.
Taking down concise job descriptions from clients so to fill bookings with the most appropriate candidate.
Contacting new clients to source new roles. Visiting new and existing clients where possible to understand the nature of the
business.
Will need to communicate effectively with clients (by phone, face to face, video links, network at conferences etc.)
Compliance checks (ensuring candidates have all their documents).
Managing your own desk and looking after your portfolio of clients.
Working to monthly KPI’s and targets.
Listing vacancies on our website, jobs boards and social media.
Maintain and update all company databases and requirements of the role.

Skills and Experience:

Previous Recruitment or Sales experience would be desirable
High level of customer service
Experience in working to targets
Ability to proactively developing new business
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work hands on, multitask and get to know all aspects of how the office runs
To be a team player who supports and helps other staff members
Providing cover of Temp desk during staff holidays and absence (full training given)

Salary:

£21,000 - £24,000 depending on experience (uncapped commission).
